The II UCIENCIA International Scientific Conference will take place from November 24th to 26th , 2016, in our house of high studies.
The event, which will promote academic scientific exchange, will be attended by around 110 researchers and professors, 30 foreigners from 15 countries and 80 Cuban participants from 10 institutions.
In an interview with the deputy rector of the university, Ph.D. Raydel Montesino Perurena, we knew that more than 300 works were received and were accepted from the scientific results 100, which will be exposed and published in the records of the event.
Ph.D. Montesino told the Mella Newspaper that 18 conferences will be held, from which four lectures and eight workshops will be held on free software, artificial intelligence, the impact of information and communication technologies in society, computer project management, mathematics Computational, engineering and software quality, computer science teaching and university extension.

"As every international scientific event always has a group of associated collateral activities, this time UCIENCIA is coinciding with the tenth anniversary of the university scientific journal and on Thursday, November 24th, an exhibition will be made honoring this publication.
