Productive Infrastructure
Attached to different administrative structures, there are 13 centers that develop R&D&I activities, in charge of computer applications, technological development and associated research.
Together, they form a collaborative work network that operates under common standards and procedures, enabling the reuse of components and industrial efficiency.
They have a productive force made up of more than 600 specialists deployed in more than 95 laboratories, to which students are linked as part of the training-production-research model put into practice at our University.
The software development centers carry out more than 100 projects a year, with a great impact on the computerization of Cuban society, in areas such as citizen security, public administration, industry, education, business management, health and biotechnology, among others.
