A hard work has made the staff of the Master of Software Quality to prepare and obtain good results during the coming visit of the evaluation committee of the National Accreditation Board (known as JAN).

For details talk to Ph.D. Yaimí Trujillo Casañola, coordinator of this program and also a graduate of the Computer Science Program of the University of Computer Science (UCI), who explained to this reporter the tasks performed to document all the necessary information that must be shown to visitors.

Yaimí told us that the whole group, composed of the Academic Committee of the Master's Degree, the staff, the graduates and the students, have worked as a team to bring together all the documentary evidence of the results of the three editions.

She added that it is important to point out that all of these collected materials demonstrate the high relevance of the entire program to the impact and introduction in practice of research in the productive processes of software and IT services and Communications, national and international publications and participation in events.

She said that this is supported by an exchange with international organizations that have allowed them to carry out two improvement projects with international certifications in the Integrated Capacity and Maturity Model (CMMI) and certification to people in the role of tester.

These experiences, "said the Coordinator," have allowed us an impact and a national and international visibility. It is also important to highlight the number of Ph.Ds that we have in our staff where more than 87% are doctors, a significant indicator to be able to opt for an accreditation of Excellence, also 100% of our graduates have culminated their defense successfully, which is another indicator to achieve this same qualification.

"We have more than four average publications per professor and participation in events, important elements that allow us to maintain that visibility and impact, as well as all the academic, didactic, material and logistic support to ensure the success of our Master's program.

"Finally, I must say that we have achieved important evidence where it is supported that our program is homologous with other prestigious programs and international certifications to people, which increases its visibility.

"We are now working on the key activities that will be carried out during the accreditation: the documentary review, interviews and visits to the main employers outside our institution, as well as the meeting with the employers of the UCI in the Exhibition Hall , Which is also the reflection of our products and our processes, which have introduced the research developed from the framework of the Master's and research line, "she concluded.
