More learning and knowledge in the second week of the VI Winter School

The second week of the VI International Winter School at the University of Informatics  Sciences(known as UCI) opened its doors on Monday, February 20th, with an inaugural event held at the José Martí building´s Theater of this academic institution.

Many requests were received on this occasion; But only 835 of the 1 052 received could be granted, for a total of 352 nationals, 478 of the UCI and 4 foreigners. This was expressed by Ph.D. Arturo Arias Orizondo, Graduate Director, who clarified that of the 12 general thematic lines, this week plans to carry out 13 courses and has 350 enrolled approximately.

The program was presented by Ph.D. Vivian Estrada Sentí, president of the Academic Committee of the International Winter School and head of the Methodological Postgraduate Department in this house of high studies.

During these days the professionals who attend are prepared to obtain more learning and knowledge with the courses they receive from a staff of high level scientific professors and very well prepared in the subjects they teach.
