With just 29 years José Felipe Ramírez has managed to achieve a solid scientific prestige endorsed by several research projects that tributed to his summit work, the doctorate in Computer science.

Through the veins of the young person who entered the Special Program of Scientific Training in Computer Science (known as PEFCI), he always ran his vocation for an investigation that consisted of the development of a model for the selection of surgical teams and health information systems from the application of organizational intelligence techniques.

Recalling that experience meant that PEFCI has been something important in his life since it gave him the possibility of further increasing his knowledge and of having graduated as a Ph.D.  in Computer Science.

For the head of the Department of Application Development of the Medical Informatics Center to have participated in this program is very important since Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, in the creation of this University, he conceived that not only were formed as revolutionaries but also as researchers who contributed to the development of computerization of Cuban society.

He added that after three months of defending his thesis he has more knowledge to transmit to young people who start their master's and doctoral activities.

In that same sense, he alerted the young people who are entering the PEFCI to take advantage of the working sessions every Friday, because this researcher is the only way they can really advance and defend successfully their Ph.D.
