 The third edition of the Global Game Jam at the Cuban headquarters met expectations, and the level of development was higher than previous editions according to the organizers of the event that took place at the University of Informatics Sciences.

At the closing of the event, which seeks to promote the video game industry in Cuba, it was noted that the mention of the best  2D graphic design was obtained by the CUJAE and The Globox Team, and the first award in this section was deserved by the Delta Team.

In addition, the mentions of better 3D graphic design fell on the selections Green Rune Studios and Dust Devil, and the best 3D graphic design and mention for the best Game Play was for Mathew 5. The other mention of this category was obtained by Jumit, and the first  Prize went to the Nameless team.

This time, the UCI team Green Rune Studios was recognized with the prize for the complete result of the competition, while the  recognition that Lauro cambio  climatico and UNESCO fell on the teams Kybox and Nameless, respectively.

 Summarizing the event, Engineer Julio César Espronceda, Vice Dean of University Extension of school 4, congratulated the laureates from whom he highlighted the potential in this branch of information technology and called them to participate in the next edition.

The contest, which brought together since last Thursday 130 competitors from all over the country, became the setting to promote innovation, exchange and experimentation in the field of recreational software.
