Second day  of UCIENCIA 2016 is developed

The second day of exchange at the II UCIENCIA 2016 International Scientific Conference, began this Friday, November 25th, at the University of Informatics Sciences (known as UCI), with the dissertation of Ph.D. Febe Ángel Ciudad Ricardo, full professor and specialist in Educational Technologies. Challenges and Perspectives in the Training of the Computer Science Engineer, the keynote addressed the current context of training and informatics as a "knowledge industry", as well as the challenges the students and professors face in the race, where professionalism should prevail. At the end of the presentation, the scientific sessions of UCIENCIA 2016 began, through symposia, workshops and panels, which discuss, between now and tomorrow, 18 lectures and eight workshops on free software, artificial intelligence, the impact of Information and communications in society, computer project management, computer mathematics, software engineering and quality, computer science education and university extension. II SYMPOSIUM: TEACHING OF COMPUTER SCIENCE Within the scientific sessions of the UCIENCIA 2016 academic exchange, it was highlighted the II Symposium: Teaching of Computer Science , which opened with the conference Quality management: a need of the Cuban university Current , given by the Ph.D. Rosa Adela González Noguera, director of the Center for Innovation and Quality of Education (CICE) of the UCI. Delegates from Universidad de Concepción in Chile and the Central University of Nicaragua attended the conference, as well as other guests from houses of high Cuban studies, who listened attentively about the importance of quality and the necessary educational resources in all spheres to be able to fulfill the social order that the centers of higher education has. Ph.D. Rosa Adela said that it is important to recognize through the National Accreditation Board what is done well and what is missing to achieve an optical quality; "But we can not work for that alone, but we must continue to strengthen a culture of quality that satisfies the whole community. We should not stay in partial changes: the purpose is to improve everything, "she concluded taking into account the discussion brought after her speech.
