During the afternoon of this Wednesday, March 29th, the Festival of Audiovisuals of Amateur Artists of  FEU 2017, at the University of Informatics Sciences (known as UCI), was held in the room  Me Dicen  Cuba of this academic institution.

A total of 50 audiovisual works were received to compete: four short films, six documentaries, the same figure in fiction, a television program, five promotional videos, eight video games, two video clips and 18 spots.

Regarding the good practices in making an audiovisual material, the aesthetics that the final product must have among other topics was discussed at the meeting.

The best audiovisual work, which also got the gold, was the documentary Dolores that illuminates a smile, by the filmmakers Laritza Caridad Valdés and Luis Daniel Castro Durán, both fourth and fifth-year students, respectively, from Faculty 2.

A jury composed of specialists from the Department of Communication, the Department of Institutional Communication, and the Department of University Extension had the mission to select the best works, which will be exhibited in full at 8:30 pm this Wednesday in the room Me Dicen Cuba.
