UCI graduates new masters in Computer Project Management

On Monday morning, July 10, 2017, in the postgraduate classrooms of School Building 1 at the University of Informatics Sciences (UCI), four defenses of the Management of Computer Projects Master’s Program took place, three from engineers of this house of higher studies and one from a professional from Mozambique.

The Mozambique engineer Crespo Boaventura José, presented the thesis entitled "Election of the type of methodology of software development in uses based on soft computing techniques”, tutored by Dr.C. Pascual Verdecia Vicet, from the Investment Department of Project Management at UCI.

According to the opponent, the research is updated and novel, and it tries to solve an objective problem for the software development companies, so it has scientific validation and merits a rating of Excellence, elements with which the Examination Committee agreed, as the theses proposes a more efficient and economic method in terms of time.

The president of the Committee, Dr. Sc., Roberto Delgado Victore, professor of the Center for Consulting and Development of Business Architectures,

Department of Project Management at UCI, expressed the deep satisfaction that this community feels to have a representative from a brother nation who has successfully completed his act of defence.

Boaventura graduated as a computer engineer in his country, where he is an assistant professor. He affirmed coming here to seek knowledge and said he learned a lot in this University and that he will apply everything this knowledge in the institute where he works.

Another thesis: "Methods for the classification of stakeholders using soft computing techniques and learning styles" also facilitated granting the title of Master with a grade of Excellent to Engineer Yasiel Pérez Vera,Vice-rector of Technology at UCI. The work was validated and, according to the opponent, it presents a good academic level and provides important contributions.
