"Arena" from  Yonnier Torres wins the contest Buscando Macondo.

Arena, written by the Cuban Yonnier Torres, is the winning story of the contest "Buscando a Macondo" that teleSUR organized as part of the celebration for the 90th anniversary of the birth of the Colombian writer Gabriel García Márquez.

The podium was completed by Jose Guerrero, from Venezuela, by Figuración Peláez, el hombre que olvidó morirse  in second place, while Fernando Roberto Sibon, from Argentina, who wrote "Yo lo vi", finished third.

The contest that pays tribute to the Nobel Prize in Literature, sought that the participants somehow dared to walk through the streets of Macondo, the magical town that created García Márquez in "100 años de Soledad"

The stories will be divulged by the screen and the web of teleSUR. In addition, the winners will be interviewed in any of the channel's programs.
