Network Management and Computer Surveillance Course

The University of Informatics Sciences (UCI) invites high school graduates under the age of 25 who are interested in taking the 2 years and a half short cycle course in Network Management and Computer Surveillance during the daytime course. University residence will be assured   for its students, as well as other UCI careers in this type of course.

Interested students should apply from Monday, June 4 to  Friday, June 22, 2018, since  8:00 a.m. to 12:00 m. at the UCI General Secretary's office presenting the following documentation:

Original of the high school diploma and its photocopy legalized by the Office of Degrees and Diplomas of the Provincial Directorate of Education where the education was completed.

Original and photocopy of the certificate of grades of the upper secondary level.

Identity card updated and in good condition.

Boys must prove their status with regard to the performance of military service by presenting the corresponding document.

If the number of applications exceeds the number of vacancies offered (60), a sorting instrument will be applied on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.

Those who are finally selected will have to present themselves at the end of August to make their official registration.

Some elements about this course

The Short Cycle Degree in Network Management and Computer Surveillance forms Senior Technicians, whose main functions are:

Install, configure and manage secure computer networks, using different technological platforms under Windows or Linux environment, interconnecting computers, laptops, mobile phones, communication equipment and other communication peripherals.

Administer and manage telematic services.

Implement security policies in computer networks and install tools to help monitor and secure network traffic.

The curriculum includes: Mathematics, Physics, Social Science, Language, Programming, Databases, Digital and Analog Electronics, Physical Education, Wired and Mobile Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Computer Security and Work Practice.
