The National Center for Distance Education contributes to the development and excellence of distance and blended education in Cuba, increasing its competitiveness through dissemination, continuous improvement and the creative application of ICT.
Among its functions is:
To carry out scientific research projects, development work and innovation processes related to the application of distance and semi-distance education in Cuba.
Contribute to the development of virtual teaching programs, as well as the design and evaluation of courses and educational resources to support this type of training.
To offer academic services, consultancies, and consultancies in distance learning form to the whole country and to the outside.
