Our teaching staff stands out for its high scientific level and pedagogical quality, while adequately combining youth and experience. It also constitutes one of the main strengths for increasing the economic-social impact of the institution, and in this way, consolidating the recognition of the UCI at a national and international level.

For the development of academic programs and scientific work, we have more than 600 teachers. Of these, 77 are doctors, among which there are more than 30 trained in specialties related to Information and Communications Technologies.

Also participating in our study plans are 30 doctors from different Cuban and foreign universities, as part of the collaboration with other institutions. Likewise, the group of teachers is made up of more than 340 masters, of which 141 have higher teaching categories.

Teacher training is carried out continuously through scientific development programs that strengthen individual and collective preparation, integrating young talent and the knowledge of the most experienced.
