The Scientific and Technical Information Centre offers specialized services for the management of information that support the key processes of the University, through the use of ICT.

The library of the Scientific and Technical Information Centre has a collection of updated books in hard copy format, as well as a large digital library available to the entire university community.

The subjects of the study plan have basic bibliography in hard copy or digital format. The bibliographic collection is approximately 5,120 titles and 8,961 copies of them, 1,837 specialized in Computer Science and Information Technology and 3,283 on general topics that complement the comprehensive training, recreation and leisure of students, teachers and workers.

The university community has other information resources such as: specialized and multi-topic databases that allow information to be consulted as a reference or in full text (IET Digital library, Redalyc, IP Advantage, Latindex, SCIELO, DOAJ, EBSCO, Springer); an Institutional Repository with the scientific production of the University's authors; a website that shows the technological surveillance products and services and the intelligence work carried out by the University Observatory; and the MES Scientific-Technical Information Channel with access to repositories of doctoral theses, multi-thematic databases managed for the network of Cuban universities.
