Focused on contributing to the future of the nation, the third year students of Faculty 3 debated on Monday the project of the Constitution of the Republic of Cuba.

During the debate, criteria were issued that included suppression and modification of paragraphs, as well as the drafting of new ideas for the improvement of the Magna Carta, which will be submitted to a referendum throughout the country, after being approved by the commission created for this purpose.

The participants declared themselves to guarantee the satisfaction of individual and family projects, to avoid the concentration of wealth, and to support the work of families as the fundamental cell of society.

Among the most frequent topics are the President's term of office and age, the protection of animals and the performance of General Military Service.

This process of popular consultation that takes place in our university offers the possibility to each person to freely expose their criteria, defend their rights and demonstrate once again their support for the Revolution.
